10/02/01 - We Americans have a big job to do. The fact that you are here indicates that you want to be part of the workforce that HELPS SOLVE, once and for all time, the problems that terrorism seeks to make worse.
In discussing the recent events that were put in motion by the attack on September 11th, one consistent theme is now becoming clear. We really don't know what we, as individuals, can do and most of us are sitting, almost paralyzed, in a "wait and see" mode.
It is a certainty that the result of waiting to see will end up with us all watching many of the things we've worked all our lives for, evaporate and blow away like the dust of the World Trade Center.
Now is a time for action ... not military - that is the job of our government; not vigilante - that is what we are seeking NOT to be; not sitting around talking - that is what got us here. The action this website seeks to foster and further is that of American action. Being a proud American and being willing to exercise that pride and faith in everything we stand for by going about our lives without the fear that the events of September 11th helped to put there.
There have been many inspiring actions performed by our fellow citizens and they have made us all proud to be Americans. Now, we as individuals must stand up and be counted. Our economy is indeed reeling, not from reality, but from uncertainty, doubt and a lack of faith.
The only way we can stop this is to move boldly ahead. We are nation that grows and prospers and we will continue to do so. It was a full page newspaper announcement by an auto dealer in Ridgewood, New Jersey [ click here for his message ] that inspired this website as a method of helping each of us to encourage each other as cherished members of the American Family.
